Default Can someone measure the strut cartridge cap "nut" ID?

Yeah I STFA and came across the DIY tool post.
I'm working on one and can't find a 34mm nut, but I did find a 35mm nut.
Will this work?

Default

Per ETKA 7, that is a sel-locking hex nut, VM14 x 1.5 (14 mm x 1.5 mm pitch).

Default no no... not the upper nut, the cap that locks the strut cartridge in the strut tube.

I found the answers here:<ul><li><a href="http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.quattro123.com/Suspension200/StrutLayoutPict.jpg&amp;imgrefurl=http://www.quattro123.com/200Type44Suspension.htm&amp;h=480&amp;w=640&amp;sz =62&amp;hl=en&amp;start=26&amp;sig2=aIgYcVdm
