Disc Brake Pad Question
I've ready many posts over the past few months on the merits of different types of pads in terms of noise and brake dust. Is there any means to identify the pads once they're on the car and the boxes are long gone? The reason I ask is I would like to duplicate the ones the PO installed on the front (nice and clean) and avoid the ones on the back (dusty and dirty). Is the brand name or number stenciled on the pads, and are they even legible once the car has racked up several thousand miles? Any suggestions for low-dust producing pads appreciated.
