Default OK so it looks like turns are 1156 and brakes are 1157. Does anyone know what the difference between

the 1157 and the 2057?

Default This might be the reason our turn signals are difficult to see at night

when the parking lights are on.

The 7506 bulb has a 37 MSCD. Many of the other bulbs that fit in that slot range from 15 to 20 MSCD.

I think I'll be checking mine soon to ensure they're right.

Mean Spherical Candela (MSCD)
The average value of the luminous intensity of a light source in all directions. To convert MSCD to Lumens, multiply by 4pi (12.57).

Default yeah the wrong bulbs are the first thing you see when you go the the parts store

you really have to look to find the correct ones, if they have them at all.

Default The 7506 bulbs I saw at Auto Zone were only single filament and our US cars have duel filament bulbs

My corner markers/turn signals in my car now are 1077. The tail lights/brake lights are 1157. The one that burned out though was a 2057, but I replaced it with an 1157. Auto zone only had an off brand 7528, which is dual filament, but the bulbs looked cheap compared to the Sylvania bulbs. These bulbs have been working fine for years so I'm not too worried about it, even if they aren't the right number.
