Electric window problem
So for the last six months or so if you wind down the front passenger window it wouldn't come back up. Sometimes it would, and sometimes if it was halfway down you could sort of grab the glass and help it up.
This implied to me that the motor works but window was jamming.
Yesterday the wife forgot, and wound it all the way down -- and there it stayed!
So I removed the trim and panel to have a look. I thought I would mess with the wiring before going ahead and taking the entire mechanism out. I reversed the switch to see what would happen. Now by pressing the "down" switch the window went up.
So, its not the motor.
But it could be the switch? No, because with the passenger switch reversed, the drivers door switch had the same effect on it - reversed.
Anyone else had this one?
