Engine Code Question AFC - AHA
I just purchased a used engine for my 1997 S6 Quattro. My trunk sticker says "AFC" and the replaced was advertised as "AFC", however when it arrived it was tagged "AHA". Physical mounting points all seem the same. The replacement engine has plastic valve covers vs. aluminum (no big deal), however, will I run into any ECU compatibility issues? Any other AFC/AHA differences?

possible solution
since you have the Vin number, go to carfax, type it in, and even though you won't get the full report, it will still tell you the make/model/year of the car
