A few questions
I have a 93 Quattro 100 CS wagon, and I've been gradually replacing lights. My next project is going to be the switch backlights. Both heated-seat controls and the rear-defroster button backlights are dead. Does anyone have any details on how to replace them? (I'm fine with soldering, having done the OAT & shift pos indicator lights).
Also, some of the backlights for the driver's armrest power window controls have burned out. Do I need a whole new unit, or more soldering?
Lastly, the black plastics pieces on the power seat controls have fallen off. I talked to the dealership parts store, and they said I needed to replace the whole switch unit. Is there anyway to get just the black pieces?
Thanks!
