I'm impressed with the 3M Imperial Hand Glaze. Never did that before. Looks like it made a lot of swirly stuff go away.

Never done Grand Blitz before either, yahoo, what a bunch of fun.

I miss plain old white paint ! BOO HOO HOO.

Default How much IHG did you use?

Was it worth the cost to buy the 1 gallon, vs the regular size?

Or do you think 1-2 bottles of the small size would be enough for one coat, get the whole gallon for future use?

Thanks for the update on how well it works =)

Default I used about 3/4 of the small size (16oz). I want/need to redo the ....

rear trunk lid. That seems to be the nastiest thing on my car. Should have plenty to do that three or four times if I want. I'm wondering if the trunk lid may have a "cracked" clearcoat from having cold water sprayed on it when it was hot.

I don't have left over enough to do the entire car again.

Did one coat of Grand Blitz 1. Got plenty of wax to do the car 50? times again.

It will probably take me a week or so before I really decide if the car is looking good as far as swirls go. In the garage and outside last night with the sun going down it looked awesome. Seems to look darker for some reason. This morning with indirect sunlight its real had to find swirl marks and I can run my finger perpendicular to a long swirl and cut a path in it, i.e. it must be wax.

Overall I'm pretty happy and my arms are tired. I sure can see a lot more rock chips and scratches that need repair.

Ahh, the Great Northwest, we pay for not having salt by using gravel. Then we voted to lower the license tabs(my car would be around $500 for license tabs before, now $35?) so things like pothole repair, bumpy roads and street sweepers seem to have been cut back (in some "liberal" counties) to "teach us a lesson", at least that's my impression.

Default $35/year, or something, in NY, and we have...

The worst roads you could imagine. Have fun!

Pictures of your car, please.... remember, I always post after a wax! Might do one later today/tomorrow.

Default You guys are only paying $35?!

Arrrggghh. In Michigan I'm paying $88.00 a year for tabs on a 13 year old car! Hmmm...are roads still suck too! I wonder what they're doing with the money...?

Default Not sure in Holland, but in ann arbor

They are redoing roads that were redone two years ago, because they built them poorly in the first place.

Then they tried to put new road on top of it thinking it would be ok, but when that started to break down they tore the whole roads out and started over..

I figure it will be two years before they do it again.
