Default Moving To Virginia

I'm leaving the Sunshine State and heading to the Shenendoah Valley by the end of July. Any dealership and/or mechanic recommendations/warnings?

Also, any particular procedure for installing the front license plate mount? Am I going to be drilling into the front bumper or what?

Finally, any winter weather preparations I need to be aware of? Living in Florida for 35 years, you tend to not have these kinds of concerns...

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, definitely looking forward to the mountain roads. I used to tear them up in my Subaru SVX when I went to visit my in-laws back in '00-'01. That was pre-Audi, though, and this will be virgin territory for the good ol' A6Q. Can't wait to stretch it's legs on something other than the Howard Frankland Bridge!

Default just keep a lot of distance and do thing in advance while driving in snow.

it might take 5 time more to brake in snow. Also it is important to have A/S or winter tires. DO NOT USE SUMMER TIRES IN SNOW. Also sometimes at 40F you can catch "black ice" - just be careful.

PS. In verginia you cannot use radar detector and evrybody drive in left lane very close to each other. It takes time to use to it.
