i'm at work right now and i don't know what to do .I park the car and 5 min after it won't start.It looks like the alarm is still on or something but it doesn't make any noise.
everithing lights up , the battery is fine it just doesn't do anything.It won't connect the starter.car ran fine unlil now.Yesterday i replaced teh O2 sensors and put clear corners.I don't think it should have anything to do with this.
Where is the starter located?
can i just tap on it ?
i disconnected the battery and still nothing....it's like a "sleep mode"
great gift for my birthday!
any help is needed and wellcomed!

now i'm not even home,i'm at work, i live 10 miles away...what could it be ?
i took the Instrum Cluster out and the switch looks nice and tight...should i take it out?
i'm out of options

I really don't want to scare or mislead you....I only talk of what has happened to me b4...

I had ignition switch problem...I got it replaced from an independent shop....now the guy did it and it worked well for a month....after that it started acting up again...I needed two to three tries b4 the car would start...

I went to him again with a new switch...now it worked for around 2 weeks and again started acting weird...

So finally I went to a guy who deals with VW and Audis...and he replaced the switch...This was 9-10 mnths ago.

the switch goes into START position but the starter is not engaged ....doesn't make a noise,nothing
i'll give it a shot
let's say the switch is fine ,shouldn't i hear the starter at least trying to do something?
i don't know....
