i know my front 2 speakers are shot. Well, it's probably the amps. Anyway, I have a 92' 100CS with the bose system, are the speakers in this auction the same ones as in my car? besdies, the back speakers and amps are all good. I weighed the idea of replacing the system, or keeping the BOSE. Decided to go with keeping the BOSE.

the problem is most probably the amps and not the speaker. they usually cause the sound to crackle, pop, hiss before they completely die.

the amp is inside the speaker enclosure and is quite small. that makes it a heck of a lot easier to send as opposed to the whole thing.

i have several speaker assemblies from 92/93 100cs. one, i am keeping in case i ever find time to replace one of my own. i have at least one known good one and maybe two.

i also have the whole assemblies if you are interested, just in case it is the speaker only.

I've listened and tried with my previous cars all kinds of aftermarket systems, either the stereo itself or amp, or speakers, subs, not.. etc--and I have to say, I really love how the Bose system sounds--it's very well balanced.
