Default Neutral safety switch?

Hi everyone,

Have a couple of issues with my 92 100CSq.

a. reverse lights are on in all gear positions except for neutral

b. Interlock solenoid/relay seems to click when I'm in drive and release the brake after coming to a complete stop. I thought it was supposed to click when I apply the brake to get out of neutral or park.

After reviewing all the threads it seems like this is a neutral safety/multifunction switch issue. Does everyone agree with my assessment?

If it is the switch then it looks kind of pricey ($300-$400). Any problems with calling up the local salvage yard to pick one up off of a blown up tranny for less money?

Thanks,
Ben

Default

Sounds like 2 problems: bad or out of adjustment brake pedal switch & a bad mult-function switch
