Default Ok, both bottom float-pins in my rear brake caliper carriers are bent, now (more)

one of them broke in the bore. I drilled it out ok, but now I need two new pins, one for each side (though I did get one to work correctly as it wasn't binding in the hole "much"). I might as well get all four new, but everyone's closed for the weekend and Audi only offers the carrier w/ bolts for ~$85 each side. Isn't that weird that they don't offer the pin separetly? My regular computer is broken currently, so can anyone check to see if there is a part # for those pins, please?

Anyone have those floating pins. smokiesman?

Default strange... same thing happened to me this weekend...

on my 90. Pin cleaned up ok, but the head of the pin is bent, and the pads rub the rotors at all times, thus overheating quickly. I ordered a new caliper carrier for $60.

Default Just on one side? One pad of the RR was MUCH shorter than the others. Hopefully it's all fixed.

Default Oh, dear. I have changed my rear rotors two hours ago and found, that one pin is rusted

It cannot move even after I smashed it with hammer.
Anybody want to sell a passanger side rear caliper carrier (with pins)? Please email me.

PS, I think pins are corroded and stuck. Appying brakes aftr this will bend the pins

Exactly what happened to me. Both side's bottom pins were rusted and bent.
