P0116 code- which sensor?
Hello All-
I have just popped a P0116 code, which says it's the G62 coolant temp sensor. Problem is, I cannot determine where this is. From what I read, some people say this is on the back of the engine on the passenger side, and some say it is on the drivers side. I have the 2.8 V6 engine. One sensor supposedly controls the temp gauge and the other is the one that causes the code. Can someone clear this up for me?

The Audi part number is 026906161 and is white in color. Be sure the connector on the sensor is secure and not corroded too. About $50 from the dealer..much less from FCPEuro and others.
