well, i frequent them enough that they let me pull for a discounted price. its all about wheeling and dealing. if you know what your doing, any yard will let you out back and pull stuff.

But a lot of the larger yards have been bought out or consolodated. There used to be more than 40 yards, not there's maybe 15 itty-bitty ones, and three HUGE ones. The huge yards get the pic of thte city's abandoned and towed cars, and have the money to buy insurance write offs. They also don't let non-family in the yard.

The yard I found the seats in had maybe 30cars total, and let me pull the CC flap levers myself. Even threw in the servo for free (anyone need a temp flap servo?). One of the larger yards asked me what I needed (drivers lower grill insert and CC temp flap levers) and once he fully understood, looked in the computer to verify he had 3 C4 A6's, he decided it wasn't worth the money and got amnesia about the A6's in the yard. That's South Philly for you.
