Sunroof motor reassembly?
Has anyone disassembled and reassembled the sunroof motor from a 96' Avant? When I bought the car, I was told the sunroof motor was 'Burnt up", but finally took some time to check it out and it's not burnt up at all. Problem is, the reassembly of the motor and the drive gear appears to have a particular sequence of reassembly that have not been able to puzzle out. Yes, I broke my cardinal rule about working on unfamiliar things: I did not pay close attention to the disassembly. Uhg-

might be able to spend some quality time at the junkyard playing with one there
take your camera and good notes. I have one kicking around in a box somewhere if worse comes to worst.
