weak seat heaters...

Your elements are probably going South. Get a Bentley and a voltmeter and start testing.
You may have some bad electrical connections that are contributing or are the actual problem. Maybe there is a relay in the circuit to that is the problem.
If you understand Ohm's law and voltage drops you can see what I'm thinking.

yeah i figured that...but i was wondering if anyone knew how the wiring for them works...
another thing i was think was wether there were multiple fuses for the system and possible some of them are blown, i think im gonna go check the manual for that now and have a look...seat heaters arent important enough to me to go tear apart my seating, so im just looking for easy fixes if you know what i mean

more info...
Apparently there is no fuse for the heated seats, its an automatic circuit breaker...
also the manual says the controls in the dash are supposed to light up when the heaters are on, which they dont in my car
i dont know how i would get at the element to test current/voltage without removing the seat from the mount...
