What's it worth? Anyone interested?
Made the decisison to move up to an A6 Avant and it is time to sell the 92.
Ironically, after farting with a annoying 1/2 amp battery drain off and on for a couple years, I finally found the yellow wire and fixed it. No more continuous window power no need to trickle charge every night.
Scoop on car:
92 100 CS blue / cream interior
Never in an accident
Paint decent, some stone chips
202K on the clock
Side molding a little sad, but still attached
Has been running damn good since I put it back together after taking the drive side head off. For those who remember, this was my own fault. Dropped screw in intake. Poked the head, had machine shop fix head and I put it all back together. No drips at all, bone dry now.
Back to the car:
Starts and runs nice
Gets 25 MPG average, more than 30 higheway. (But... That's with my foot on gas, yours may differ)
Tires less than 5000 miles
Timing belt done at 190,000 (everything)
Just Tbelt done at 195000 (Ripped when I tried to slip if off when doing head)
Everything works
AC gets cold (Still R12)
Climate control display nice and crisp
Leather decent, no tears or rip seams
All power windows and seats work fine
Roof works fine
Kelly says $2950 with 202K miles.
Full maintenence records back to 96
Also had new auto tranny replaced by dealer on 100% warranty at 60K
New control arms, new strut cartridges, new subframe mount, strut mounts in last year.
I figure it's give next owner another 100K.
So, who's my first bidder? Car in West Michigan.
