Default Whoa, Pennzoil Universal ATF. Z-F Approved & <$5. Says "Audi" right on the label!

This should reduce the service costs for cars like my Mother-in-Law's '95 A6q Avant. She cannot spend a lot of dough. I think fluid is costly for her car, my fluid cost $200 for my '98 A4q Tip! I am not ready to try it, but will next year when she is due. Hey, I'd rather have more frequent service changes with this fluid, than longer intervals on the oem fluid. how much does the oem fluid cost anyway? I remember it was like $100 for her car, $250 total with labour.

Default Hold up, check www.vwparts.com...

Part G052162A2 for the A6 is 1 liter of VW synth ATF oil. It's only 12.25. It takes roughly 3 liters of fluid for the change. G052 is factory fill so I'd use it, otherwise you might run into problems. The Tip fluid is part #G052171A2 and it $33/liter.

Default Seems like an ideal upgrade for cars that used Dextron. Fully compatible w/ old trans,"A2" fluid not

newer VAG fluid might not be backwards compatible with the Dextron trans. Maybe someone knows. This fluid would be a great choice, imo.
