I want to wire my Valentine 1 directly into the car, so I dont have cords flopping around. I plan to run the wire from the bottom middle of the windscreen left over to the driver's side and under the dash to a power source and ground. Ideally I would like to use a power source switched on with the ignition. Has any one done this? What would be the best accessible power wire to tap into?

It looks very stealth. But I still looking to make it almost invisible for cops.

I think I used the rear wiper fuse to connect the +12V. The detector is on, when ignition is on. Unfortunatly I do not have a switch to switch it on/off manualy. I am planing to install additional "fog light switch" on the panel and use it to turn the radar off, when I am in the city and do not use it. I think the V1 has this switch.
