You guys with A6's are soooo lucky
Yesterday I went to inspect my friend's 1997 A6 with engine and water leakage well turned out to be just the water it leaks out all it's water, I think it is the water pump seal... But everything it that car is just so much better than my 93 100CS. I now REALLY wish I had one.
Actually the 100CS is me mum's car but I keep it it perfect (to my little knowledge) condition, now I want to try and persuade her to buy a newer model for me to get one day LOL, but Friday she bought a Mercedes Benz Vito crew bus 115CDI So now I'll have to stick to my junkadellic(HAHA I still love my 100CS)
I also changed the gearbox oil and filter 45k change...... I thought I drainded engine oil it was veeeery dirty. The magnet was full of metallic particles surely normal? 220k miles. She shifts alot smoother and goes into reverse almost instantly and so soft that I have to make sure it is in Reverse or drive...

The 100s WERE stronger...
...somewhere in 1994 the company started to save production cost. You can see that in details like window lifter being riveted and not longer bolted..and some elso I can´t remember.
