Default Zimmerman Rotors

Heared a lot of complements about this product.
Any advise? Where is the best place to buy them(cheper)? Also what is the best brand of brake pads(dust is a biggest pain)?

Thanks

Default I just copied Muhammad......

Zimmerman slotted in front
Audi standard in back
Rofren pads all the way around

I'd think they dust less and they dust black instead of that rose color. Seems a lot less noticable. I'm happy.

You may want to flush your brake fluid at the same time. That should be done every two years.

Bought at <a href="http://www.eurobraketech.com/index.html" target="_top">Euro Brake Tech</a>

The fronts look like this :

Default Re: Zimmerman Rotors

You can get Zimmermanns lots of places, but the slotted Zimmermanns were much harder to find and of course more expensive. Good pads are Ferodo, Mintex, PBR, and Rofren although they do dust quite a bit on my car.

Called Sure Stop last week:

Brembo cross drilled
Rotor F - $67
Rotor R - $46

Low dust pads: Front $59 and Rear$32

Sales man advises that they drill rotors themself
because manufacturer makes only plain rotors(???)

Default Search the forums, I wouldn't do cross drilled for a few reasons...

1. Cost more and I don't need that much braking power.
2. If the rotors aren't heat treated correctly after the drilling they tend to crack around the holes more than hey normally will.
3. Rotor life is shortened.
4. If the drilling isn't done right (countersunk) pad life can be real short.
