Default 1985 4000S Quattro O2 sensor reset

Hi folks, Is the O2 sensor dash warning light triggered by mileage and not a failure? That's what I heard, is there a reset button or push in button on the back of the guage cluster and if so what does it look like?

This is from Motorgeek In 85+ the reset is built into the back of the gauge cluster. You'll need to remove the gauge cluster shroud and then on the back of the tach (could be the back of the speedo, I'm working off memory here ) there is a slot that you can push a small flat screwdriver into to reset the light.

O2 update, there is a one pager in the shop manual, go figure, hard to find. Anyway if you remove the bezel around the gauge cluster you can reset it, only 4 screws. There is a standup tab over a hole at the very top of the cluster, between a screw and a boss, break this tab off and insert a screw driver in the slot and push towards the rear of the car. It is NOT on the tach or speedometer.
