I have a hood problem for my 86 CGT, the hood fell off...... the hinges on the base of the hood completely cracked just after the second bolt and it came off. I was wondering where i could get some new hinges does anybody know? Also, i want a new muffler, i want it to sound aggresive but not a ricer buzz what can anybody recommend?

Re: 2 Questions
Hinges go to a junkyard or an Audi dealership.
Exhaust go with stebro or scorpion or get a custom exhaust just make sure to have the cat, the resonator, and the rear muffler it needs all three to not be buzzy(rice). Just pick up some performance mufflers and get a shop to make the piping, mandrel bent is best preferably stainless steel.

Exhaust
Scorpion and Stebro are ridiculously priced.
You don't need both mufflers. Just one good one will generate a nice sound, and it will flow much better. I use a 2.25" cat back custom system with a single Magnaflow brand muffler. Has a nice growl, isn't obtrusive and runs much better. Cost me $200 installed about two years ago. Add another $100 if you want it stainless. Compare that to the price of a 'name brand' system and you'll see what I mean about ridiculous. Mandrel bends are nice, but virtually impossible to find a muffler shop that makes them. Adds greatly to the cost too. A good pipe bender can make a CGT system with minimal corner compressions.
Anything is better than the stock setup!

Hood Hinges
I would get the hood hinges from 1-800-vwparts. I had to replace one of mine when the hood flew up over the windshield one day. You could also try Shokan (1-800-all-audi)
