Default 4000cs quattro throttle issue

I've had this issue ever since I got the car.

The throttle seems to cut out at random times while driving. I usually have to push in the clutch and blip the throttle a couple times to get it going again. It tends to do it when rolling from a stop. I'm not sure what could cause it

alright so I unplugged the ISV and it got rid of the problem... but the issue is that the ISV is literally brand new so Idk how that would be the cause. Is there anything else that would work in conjunction with the ISV that could case this issue?

The temp sensor on the t stat housing controls when the ISV turns on and how much it opens. Along with that the idle switch on the underside of the throttle body tells the computer that, when the temp sensor reads a certain temperature and the throttle is closed, it needs to open the ISV. There are specific tests you can do to test these parts, but you would need a Bentley manual to do them. That or you can give me your car info and I can tell you how to do it.
