4k wire from Ignition to starter?

4k wire from Ignition to starter?
I'm trying to trace the wire back from the starter. it goes up between the air cleaner & battery box, is it accessible anywhere from the top?

i believe it gets within a wrapped set of cables, at least that's the way it is on my parts car.
The parts car is an '83. From the wrap, it goes to the dash and out the other side.
