86 CGT Rear Drum to Disc conversion
What would i need to convert from rear drums to rear disc brakes?
Would UR-Quattro calipers work with the solid rotors redrilled to 4x108? or even 200TQ caliper with vented V8 Quattro or S6 rotors redrilled?
or would my best bet be to find a newer CGT with rear discs or a 4000 maybe which is already 4x108?
How is the e-brake set up on the rear disc brake setup?
Is there basically a drum inside the disc or is there a cable going to the caliper?
Thanks!

You would need to get the rear end(axle assembly) and brakes from an special Build GT(hard to find) or from an audi 80 FWD(88-91)(much more common). I'm pretty sure the rear calipers could be sourced from a 4000 quattro also, just not the rotors, as the offset is different if I remember correctly. I know some that have done the swap on this board and its relatively easy. At the same time, I would replace the trailing arm bushings and panhard bar bushings. Good luck!
