i'm thinking of checking it out. Its an 85 with a 5k 10vt in it. it's in utah. the guy who owns it now didn't do the swap & I'm trying to see if anybody know anything about it?

Nothing other than it's been for sale forever.
I seem to remember it being for sale before this too - a couple years ago maybe? IIRC, the same exact picture was used. Why is he selling? Could potentially be a lot of headaches unless well sorted. And for the price he's asking, it should be.
