And my angle of the car (jacked up on the street) makes it difficult. Can I just cut that plastic hose from try to fit another high pressure rubber hose or some other plastic hose onto it? In the process of me trying to take it off the pump, I have put some creases and stretched the plastic hose anyway.

I've been PB Blasting the **** outta it. Still no luck.
I had to pry the plastic connectors off the electrical connectors so I can get a 17mm open end wrench in there because that part is loose. But the 19mm head on top is rusted to the hose and the in turn the rest of it.

Bought new ones from 034, I thought you had the fittings off..
and were worried about the plastic lines breaking. You can just hose clamp the high pressure hoses to the banjo fitting. You probably already know that. Make life ewasy, buy new fitings for less than $10 and finish the job.

I had my accumulator rot out and leak..
I had my accumulator rot out becuase it was soooo crusty.
No way were the fittings on the accumulator going to come off..
I just ditched all of that 'hard plastic' lines, and went straight from the pump to the (big)filter banjo fittings with some high pressure rubber hose (and clamps).
If you are completly replacing the hose, you may be able to get away without having to undo the banjo fittings from the pump and filter themselves. That may make you day a bit easier!
No accumulator at all, and works ok so far (Two winters). Yes, I know I'll probably have hot start problems when it gets warm out, but for now, I can live with it!
Just make SURE that the hose you use IS for high pressure fuel injection use. The 50 lbs rating hose just isn't good enough, as the pump puts out ~80 lbs pressure..

so no accumulator at all huh???
Yeah my accumulator's fitting and the unit itself is a BIG ball of rust. I thought of using some high pressure hose and some clamps as well, just cut the nylon off the bango ends of pump and accumulator, well just that one hose is all I need to do. Then once its cut off, if I really wanted to, I can try to release the bango fitting on the pump's end since it will be off the car and easier to work on. I think this is what I am gonna do!
