I just found out tonight that the anti-squeal shims on my front (driver side) pads slipped off and cut through my rotor (now conveniently available in two pieces). So now I'm changing over to Brembo rotors and Pagid pads.... Has this ever (or has anyone heard of) this happening before? It was a new one for me. Pictures of the carnage to follow in the next day or two.

heads up with those pagid pads - you're gonna have a lot of nastay dust.
