Default Disassembling a 86 4000CSQ door

So my window problems persist. I took apart the center console (which was a bear), only to switch around the buttons and find out that the issue wasnt there. So, as suggested before, it may be the regulator. Before I start exploring the inner parts of the door, I was wondering how much of a hassle it is to take the door apart. And from there, if it is the regulator, about how long it would take to put that baby in there and where I could find one.

Default door panel comes off easy

unscrew the lock ****, remove the screw from the handle, take off the triangle in the front corner of the window(one screw) and remove the screw holding the door panel bracket on.. 2 screws have to come out of the arm rest, theyre underneath, easy to find. rotater the armrest up and itll pop out. youll have to disconnect the window switch wire harness... and i think thats it. use a screwdriver to start pulling the panel off at a bottom corner, its held in with those little popper dealies. pop all those off, pull the top of the panel out of the trim and put the panel aside. youll have to remove the plastic sheeting underneath, save it in good shape if you can, then you can reuse it. the regulator is held on with a few screws here and there, should be fairly obvious. for a new regulator i have to recommend emailing chris@force5auto.com, hes a great guy and he usually will have whatever you need. see? piece of cake!
