Default Euro Lights

I can get a set of the H1/H4 sloped euro lights with brackets for $750 brand new pair. Is that a good price for my 85 4KS?

Default No.

Seems like I paid around $600 from Blau, but that was several years ago. Check them out.

Default Brackets

Could you fully detail me in on how you made your brackets? As in, drawings, measurements, tips, ets? I have a set sitting here that I really need to put on. Also, did you make your own wiring harness?

i just made an aluminum L-brackets,. take a piece of sheetmetal and trace the mounting holes on the lights on it and mount it to the existing bracket. kinda like making extensions for the origional brackets. i did this by seat of the pants engineering, aka in the south, redneck engineering. ( i mean not to offend anyone by this term, it is just a term that is commonly used in the south.). as for the wiring harness, i just used some splice connectors into the origional wiring for the lights.

BLAU's kit includes ther wiring harness, they say the stock electrical system won't handle the current draw of the euro lights, is this true?

i have had no problems so far, use the same wattage bulbs as the stock headlights, but have thought of making a harness to handle more powerfull bulbs.
