forget my post about it eing on the road...
more like about to be on the road to a river bed
im tired of my car ****ng up, manily the engine, i found in town the 140 horse motor i want, but i dont even have 200 buck, and its 425
i love the coupe dont get me wrong, anything from the 80's with a 5 cylinder rocks my boat
tonight i found the coupe ran like **** mainly because the timing belt had a tooth missing
venting post i guess you could call it

Now that you've identified the problem - should be smooth sailing.
I'm pretty sure the WE in the 83 cgt is a non interference engine. Belt change is a pain, especially if you don't have a lift.

i think im gonna stop wasting money on this 26 year old unknown ,milaged engione and save up for more horse power on alot less milage engine i found
