Forgive me AW for I feel like I've sinned. (Warning...car death...longish)
Ok, I let everyone know about the 84 coupe that was located in a parking garage last spring. Well, a number of you have been beneficiaries of the coupe and yesterday the final blow was delt. It was chopped up...and I still feel dirty for doing it.
I took some pictures.
The doors were removed...both in very good shape, no rust on the inside and only a dent on the passenger door.

Passenger Door

Hood off, sunroof off with good metal.

Right and left quarter panels...both good but each has a minor issue. Little elbo grease and they would be very usable.

<img src="http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d104/kmloveless/GTCoupe/Death/Parts008.jpg">
Heat shield...great shape.
<img src="http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d104/kmloveless/GTCoupe/Death/Parts016.jpg">
Trunk...I have the reflector in my garage.
<img src="http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d104/kmloveless/GTCoupe/Death/Parts010.jpg">
And the inevitable...the remains of the car. Interior was shot. Sat exposed to the elements. Local CGT owner bought the entire suspension and subframe, roof liner, and the body moldings. Body moldings were not cooperating so a sawzall took them off.
<img src="http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d104/kmloveless/GTCoupe/Death/Parts033.jpg">
What was left we cut the roof off, chopped the car in two just behind the shifter. I took the front half and removed the transmission tunnel in case I convert the 86 to a 5-speed.
After all that, please understand why we didn't try and fix it up. After getting exposure to some of the internals, it was just beyond reasonable repair. Here's a pic of the exposed interior in front of the passenger rear...rust, lots of rust.

And trunk
<img src="http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d104/kmloveless/GTCoupe/Death/Parts032.jpg">
And finally...current state. Will only take 3-4 friends to load on a trailer to haul to the scrap yard.

Re: Which pieces are you looking for?
the ones on the top of the door and bottom of the window, doorbelt weatherstripping I think is what they are commonly referred to as? they act as a squeegee for the window when it goes up and down.I also need both front windows as mine are all scratched up because my doorbelt whatever pieces are shot and sand and dirt and crap got in there and scratched em up good.
