Default frozen antenna

OK, it's getting colder here in the northeast and problems are arising. The newest one is that my antenna doesn't want to go up in the morning. At lunchtime and after work it's fine. Should I get a new antenna or play around with this one?

I had one that did that... I left the car running w/ radio on... cleaned the thing very well w/alcohol. Be VERRRRRRY carefull not to bend the thing while doing so. Hope that this helps.
