Rears should be here in a week or so. After talking with Chris about the rear calipers and getting my ebrake back working again I told him I wanted to redo the calipers all around. We talked about rebuilding them and I wanted to try my hand at this. So I scored calipers from Derek out west and will be rebuilding them (with Chris' help) and refurbishing the ebrake mechanism (he has a writeup on this, IIRC). I already have newish cables in my closet.

So, soon (hopefully before winter?) I will have rebuilt calipers, new pads and rotors on, and a working ebrake. I already have newish fluid, but it will be flushed when I put the calipers on.

Just figured Id share. I was going to wait to do this in the spring, but I got a decent deal on the calipers now, plus with the new job, why not?

Gonna maybe clean them up this weekend. I just want a working ebrake again!

You by chance dont have an extra carrier for the front calipers, do you? One of the calipers I got is missing one (I knew about this).

Just wanting to get the calipers cleaned and completely assembled and ready. But no big deal since its just the carrier.
