Default Got a new exhaust put on today

The exhaust on the 4ktq was leaking pretty bad, so I decided to have it replaced today. Got to the shop that I had my stuff put on before. The actual piping was around 5 years old. I had put on a resonator and different muffler back in 2004. With the car on the lift we spotted the leak, a hole where one of the hangers was hooked on. I decided to just have entire new piping from the cat-back put on, with only a rear muffler. I went with 2 1/2 inch piping and just a generic muffler, and my magnaflow tips I had on before. I originally wanted just regular exhaust pipe (dual outlet), but then thought of the rust factor. The guy who did the exhaust was about my age and I was REALLY impressed with how well he did it. He added a few hangers, a few of the stock places were way out of the way. The sound is very quiet at idle, and it sounds reallllllllllly nice once you get going, not loud and obtrusive at all, just a cool deep sound. I havnt really got in it, due to the WG diaphram being crapped out. With the 2 1/2 inch piping I can tell a difference though

Im stoked!

Default Sounds hot, Mikey

It's gotta be a 100% improvement over what you had. Can't wait to hear it! I think I'm gonna go with a glasspack for the resonator and a Magnaflow rear muffler. Also going with 2.5" piping.
