Default <grumble> Finding 4x108 wheels is really a pain!

I've been on the hunt for some new wheels. I got teased when I found out that Rota made the Grids (Volk replicas) in 4x108. But apparently, the 4x108 size has been discontinued for awhile, so I gave that up. My focus changed to finding a set of Rota Slipstreams. They are made in 4x108, but are not easy to find! I've made a lot of phone calls trying to find them - the best Availability I've found so far in a decent color is 15x6.5 +40 in silver for $445(+shipping). The amazing part about the 15" Slipstreams is that they only weigh 11.8 pounds, yet are very strong! Had they been the 15x7 +40's I probably would have bought them. The ones I mentioned are still in contention, but I'm going to still do more looking.

Our lug pattern is the same as the ford focus pattern so for finding rims I searched ford focus on ebay to find rims. Mercury Cougar pattern is the same too I think. Good luck

I saw a set of 16" Slipstreams for sale on a Focus board. Don't know if you'd be interested in that size, but I'll see if I can dig up the post.

Yeah, I've kind of got my self sold on the slipstreams though.

The only issue that I have been told about when looking at the Ford rims is the offset. Its a little different.

Is the offset similar?
