has anyone put lights behind the coupe on the trunk?
i'm thinking of doing this. i think 2 bulb mounted behind it would be bright enuf but not to bright. then i'd wire it to the taillight so it's on when the lights are on.
anyone tried this? what do you think of the idea?

Inside of the "coupe" bar is a reflective material, so just mounting 2 bulbs wont do it
you can see on the back where the euro coupes have the're fog lights, which is where I mounted bulb holders only after sand blasting the material off of the inside
There was someone at Carlisle last year that cut the bar in half to expose the material , he used a razor knife

I've wondered that myself.....
maybe its just left over from the molds for the ones in europe that got the rear fogs, and instead of making a new mold for the US market they just put that reflective crap on the inside and left the bulb holder pieces closed up....hmmmmmm?

i did "rear fogs"...
i seperated the backing from the panel, scraped away the reflective material and got some bulb sockets from a mk2 golf, turn signals i think... not exactly fogs, but still nice to have some more light back there.. the coupe lights aren't exactly huge
