Default Headlight options

So my 4k made it to the body shop. I think I decided on the Nissan GTR KH2 color. My question is my car is an 87 and I really kinda like how the earlier quad headlights look. Both of my current headlights are cracked. Can I swap in a earlier front grille and necessary hardware to run a quad headlights set up? I also have 2 uncracked '86 5000 headlights. They would look more like the euro style but not sure how I would get those to fit or if I even could. Any input is greatly appreciated.

As long as you have all the pieces you can do the swap. Some things are different, like your car won't have the cutouts for the small side markers on the fenders. The earlier cars just have a reflector where your car has the side markers. Unless you want to cut some holes you'd have to figure something else out for side markers or just run without. The grille probably won't match up with the bumper exactly, since the early grilles are flat while the later ones slope forward at the bottom slightly, but that would be a minor thing. I would take the opportunity to relay the parking lights and headlights.

The 5000 shares tail lights, but you wouldn't be able to get the headlights to fit without some modification that it sounds like you're already past if you're picking out paint. I've never seen anyone do it thought, so it would be unique.

That's a great color, BTW.

Awesome Rog, thank you for all the help. I did pick up a 10vt to swap this summer. So I'll probably be picking your brain again soon.

Sweet. Someday I'll do another one, but have everything together and a garage to do it in...
