I was driving around the other light and all the sudden my headlight popped out!. I pulled into the nearest parking lot and the thing was hanging by the wires. I headed over to Autozone put in some new bolts and screw holder thingies, and I was good to go. My question is has anybody else had this problem, The assembly seemed a little cheap looking.

When I switched out the lights for the H4's they were hell of hard to pull out. The lower frame mounting screws were are a little tricky to get at and required a long screwdriver.
If those didn't come loose, I'd be even more suprised if your lens fell out of the frame! I had to switch my frames around to fit the pre-85's and I had one hell of a time getting the adjusters to turn. I had to soak them with Kroil, and blow torch them. How did yours pop out?

The person who owned the car before me had not bothered to put the bottom screws back in. (Understandable, because it took me awhile to slip new ones in.) When I stopped I had noticed that the top two screws were still in their slots, while the bottom two werernt anywhere to be found. I always noticed that the headlight seemed loose when I bought the car (At night, the beam would vibrate rapidly whenever I drove down a gravel road, and when ever I would knock on the light it would rattle.) I guess I got too lazy to check the problem out and replace it, and it decided to fall aprat because of it. , Its all good now!

Ahh nice.. Those bottom screws are tricky... Just be glad you didnt break the lens..
