i dont know what it is with bently but i can definatly confirm that moving the cam gear 1 notch past the suggested "in line with top of valve cover" or whatever it is word for word worked! i didnt bother to line up the tdc marks, i just marked the belt and cam to move it one notch forward, since i dont have the right socket to turn the engine
the car fired right up and had much better throttle response
this is with an nf engine so i dont know if that would change things around

either way i fix a water leak and bleed the brakes and i should be back on the road!
