How do you remove the clutch slave cylinder?

There isn't much room under there. Likely the thing has never been out since new, almost 20 years of muck and corrosion. If you already have a replacement, I would try tapping side to side. Get it to wiggle, then try pulling while wiggling. I've spent some time wrestling with those too, just a sucky location. You can also try applying some penetrating oil around the area where the cylinder enters the bellhousing.
Good luck!

Did that chore onece (Sean's 4ktq @ Pat's) with the grill off and some really long extensions. I held the extension on the slave cylinder wherever I could, probably near the bleeder, while Sean hit the extensions with a hammer. It worked it's way out eventually. Try penetrant then actuating the clutch with the pin removed. Maby the slave cylinder will push itself out. Hope this helps.
