Default INTERIOR LIGHTING (Door Handle)

Guys do you think it's possible do this to our Audi's because I know my girlfriend or friend in my 87' Coupe hates searching for the door handle in the dark. I stumbled upon this website by accident. The guy did it on a BMW e28.

Here's the link to what I'm talking about:

Default yes...but,

...it could be done just like they did on that car.

lets see what u risk on a 16 year old car though...

taking the door panel off...rippin up the press board panel...and of course youll no doubt have to get new fastners to put i back on.

messin with the electricals which are already precariously balanced in our cars.

and if u put it under the carpet as that guy did...possibly loosing any of the multiple screws and things that go into this process...as well as the fact that sometimes on sixteen year old cars things just dont seem to always go back the same way they came off.

many, many more but more importantly will your girlfriend still be around after driving around in a torn apart car while u try to get it all together...most probably taking at least a week since you busted that one piece u cant seem to find in the local yard.

oh, and then the fact of praying u didnt just slightly mess anything else up while u did this that may not manifest itself right away...like all of a sudden the door handle not working.

just my opinion of course...

...a flashlight to keep in the car would be cheaper, or just act like your needing something out of the glove box each time she is getting out so the light from in there helps her.

Default its possible, but the 20 year old cardboard door panels might not like it

If you do decide to do it, make sure you take care of the door panel and the clips. You can get a helpful little tool at Autozone designed to remove door panels.

Besides, you can just tell your GF to climb over you, and you will let her out on your side.
