At last, a dream come true! My Coupe GT...
Hi All
Following a really long gestation period, since Audi blitzed the rally world in fact, my baby is here!
Ok, I know it's not 4wd, but I don't care! Most people don't know the difference, and those that do still think it's a cool car!
1986 New Zealand new, RHD, 2.3, manual, analogue gauges, 255,000 k's and drives like it's got 100,000k's on the clock!
What a great experience collecting it - I live in the South Island, we flew to Wellington, collected the car, drove to the Ferry, got off a few hours later and then blasted down the four hour coast road to home....what a happy face - and that noise mid range in the tunnels OMG!
Needs some TLC here and there, and really looking forward to getting hands dirty doing just that.
Lastly, thanks to all you now fellow members, this site has already been helpful.
Geoff.

Congrats! Great looking vehicle. I own an 86 Coupe GT myself and I love it.
I hate to do this but may I suggest posting on quattroworld.com Forums: 4000 + Coupe GT as it will have much more support for any questions that you may have. There is a good community there that is much more active than here. Best of luck and looking forward to seeing progress on you car!
