Lastest 2Bennett experience...
Well I spent the last 2 days running around in Davis at 2B. Those guys have always been a pleasure to deal with IMO.
I picked up my 86 4KCSQ yesterday after having new upper strut bushings, Spax VSX springs and shocks, & delrin a-arm bushings installed on all four corners.
Very happy with the present ride the car has (although anything would have been better than it was)and of course the drop of 1.5" looks pretty sweet too. So much for keeping the car a stock commuter.
Ended up dropping of my CGT turbo to have the A/C repaired when I picked up the 4K so it looks as though I'll be going back next week to get it.
Just thought I'd give those guys their props, they've always managed to keep me happy.
J.
P.S. They were prepping a 4KCSQ for their latest swap - 4.2 V8! That should be a beast when it's done. Ken Bennett said I could have one too for ONLY $12.5k! Ouch. Maybe when I hit the lotto!

Yeah....
The delrins are the best bang-for-buck suspension improvement you can do to a 4k or CGT, no question.
That's a nice setup you've got now.
While $12.5k is a lotta funds, isn't bad for a 4.2 transplant. My friend's 4.2 swap cost about that and he did the work himself.

I am pretty happy with it so far.
I have the delrins on my CGT turbo too, so I knew I wanted them on my 4KCSQ. I'd heard mixed reviews about the Spax springs/shocks, but enough positive info to get them on my car (2B gave me a good customer discount on them that made them hard to pass on).
Yeah, $12.5k is hard to swallow. But man would that be cool!
