List of cars I've owned, what have other folks gone through over the yrs?
Scapula". Basically the shoulder blade is ripping away from the back muscle.
Seems that all the work a deltoid normally does cannot have it's "slack"
picked up by some off the other surrounding muscles after all.
I'm not the kind that can sit around & wait, but guess I need to slow back down @ least.
As for the "good", the Dr says that a nerve will regenerate @ a rate of 1mm/day. So a 30cm or 12" section should be regenrated in 300 days. Since it's been ~90 days so far, I know the damage is more than 9cm or ~3.5" so far. Even once I get signals over the nerve, the muscles bulk has deteriorated so much that it will take a long time to get it back looking like a muscle (imagine me w/ a starving African refuge child's shoulder/upper arm).
2. 1985 Audi 4000 S quattro - charcoal metallic grey - cheapo beater. Bought for $400 and some bike parts, sold for $377 to the Lithuanian mafia w/ blown head gasket.
3. 1985 Audi 4000 S quattro - charcoal metallic grey - low miles, garaged its whole life. Bought for $1250, was recently totaled in a head on collision, insurance company paid me $1700.
4. 1985 Audi 4000 S quattro - alpine white - parts car, bought totaled from auto auction. Paid $300 for the car that came with a hopped up $5000 NA engine with documentation to prove it. Made sure motor ran good then yanked everything off the car worth keeping. It is currently an almost empty shell that will be headed for the crusher soon.
5. 1989 Audi 200 Turbo quattro Avant - lago blue - Freebie stuff hauler. Became immobilized for a period of time due to a broken clutch pedal, then a mouse got in the dash and chewed up the wiring. Won't start anymore. Recently yanked the motor and gave back to my friend who gave me the car to put in his 1985 4ktq that blew its engine. Car will be parted somewhat then off to a wrecking yard or the crusher.
6. 1985 Audi 4000 S quattro - charcoal metallic grey - high miles, poor cosmetic shape. Bought for $1000, already had Cibie H1/H4's w/ relays, H&R lowering springs, BOGE turbo gas struts, SS brake lines, ATE Power Slot rotors, and a Sparco strut tower bar. So far, replaced warped rotors w/ my cross drilled cryo'd Brembos, installed my 034/Billzcat short shifter, replaced trunk struts, replaced door striker pins, working on door handles.

1974 Chevy Malibu wagon. Basic transportation. Gave my mother money to buy a horse for my sister and when I needed another car, my mother gave my this in return. Ended up junking it after driving it a few years. I traded the 350 to friend and we put in his Vega.
Unknown year Subaru. Late '70s early '80s maybe. It was a two-door that had a lower roof line than normal. It kinda looked chopped. Got it from my uncle for $1. It burned oil and looked like a mosquito fogger going down the road. I don't even remember what happened to it.
1977 Audi Fox, my first VW/Audi product. Bought it from a friend's Dad for $250 bucks around 1988 or so. Didn't know anything about them. I took it around the block and was hooked. Had to push start it by myself on the way home and was STILL hooked. It had a 1.6L engine that would scream to the redline and chirp the tires going into third gear. Man, that car took a beating. Got plenty of stories about that car.
1968 Cadillac Sedan Deville. Bought this one to swap the 472 CI engine into my '64. This swap never happened. I ended up parting/scrapping it out. A friend and I put the 472 in his 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. I even modified the TA shaker scoop to fit and look like factory. Another instant tire-frier. You couldn't drive it in the rain, 'cuz every time you tried to take off, the posi rear-end would slide the car sideways. My friend was used to revving the wee out of his small block Vega and I told him he would probably blow the big-block Cad engine up. Well, he did. Revved it too high and broke some ring lands off. So we put a rebuilt 500 Cadillac engine in place of the 472. He sold the body and I have that engine.
1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Got tired of working on the Fox 'bout every other week. When these (the front drive models) came out, I thought they were pretty cool looking. Anybody remember the William Shatner commercials for these touting their futuristic styling (LOL)? I got it used less than a year old. It was a good car, only had to take it to the shop twice for minor stuff. It even got over 30mpg on the highway with the 3.1L V-6. Sold it when I could no longer afford it after buying a house.
1982 VW Scirocco. Bought it for the modified 1.7L engine so I could put it my Fox. It had a 0.428 lift Crane cam and springs, adjustable cam sprocket, a recurved ditributor, big bore throttle body, and stainless steel Borla exhaust. Hot stuff back in the day. I never got around to swapping the engine into the Fox. Ended up selling it when I got my 4000.
1984 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D'Elegance sedan. Got this for my wife when we started having kids. Very plush car. It had button-tufted, pillow-back leather seats that were like sitting in a nice office chair and was very quiet. It had the infamous HT4100, but I never had any problems with mine. It even returned 23 mpg on the highway.
1982(?) Nissan Stanza. Boring car. Traded some dog sitting for it. Mostly dependable transportation. Had a bucking problem when it got cold and needed a CV joint. Sold it with no regrets.
1984 Cadillac Fleetwood Coupe. After getting one for my wife, I had to have one of my own so I got this 2-door. I still have it. Triple black with leather interior and a gigantic sunroof. I have almost all the parts needed to swap in the aforementioned 500 CI Cadillac engine and a rear disc brake axle.
1988 GMC Suburban. After upping the kid count to three, my wife said she wanted a bigger(!) vehicle. I told her it had to be either a six-door Cadillac limousine or a Suburban with a third row bench. She opted for the Suburban (rats!). Still have this one. It serves as a building materials/junk hauler now.
1989 VW Fox. Got this one cheap from a friend after his wife backed out of the garage with one of the back doors open. Oops. It ripped the hinges off the pillar. A little welding, some banging with a 2x4, and presto, a dependable, tin can of a car. Having actually owned one I can say things like that. At least it air conditioning. My friend had already taken out the exhaust restrictor and I also found a clip that limited how much throttle you got at full throttle. I think this car my have been faster than my current 4000. Sold it to buy a mountain bike.
1976 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 pick up. Farm truck with see through floors. Bought it cheap, used it around the farm a few years pulling up trees and moving stuff around, then sold it to a guy who wanted the heavy-duty chassis.
1987 Audi 4000S. I got too fat to fit in the Scirocco so I was driving the VW Fox as my daily driver. I got tired of that so I decided to get another Audi. I looked in the paper and saw an ad for this car. Again, I didn't know what models were what, but when I saw it, it was what I had in mind. That was about eight years ago and I'm still rocking it. The body isn't holding up well now, and it needs a clutch badly. Oh, well, I'm STILL hooked!!
1999 Chevy Suburban 2500 4x4 for my wife. Heavy duty chassis - basically a one-ton spec - with a fuel injected 454 (7.4L) engine. Way more vehicle than she needs, but the ol' '88 was getting way too rusty to be hauling the kids (now four) around in and it was in our price range. Since my wife only drives about 6000 miles a year, we weren't too worried the fuel mileage. Of course that was when gas was under $2 a gallon. Sometimes it even hits 13mpg. Woo hoo! Excellent people and stuff hauler, though. Rides pretty well for a 3/4 ton, too.
Well, sorry for the lengthy post, but I just got to remembering things and just kept on typing. Of course, this doesn't include any parts cars that have come and gone or that I currently have.

Bringing Audi to Life for Audi Fans
1979 Ford Econoline- Aka the beast. Very solid van with a solid 5 miles per gallon
1996 Ford Mustang Gt auto- **** handles and not a car for a teenager with a heavy foot. Almost killed myself in this one a few times (not a sports car)
1980 Scirocco 5spd- Fun and sprinty car. How a car should handle
1986 Audi 4000cs Quattro- Slow but the quattro lets me take hard turns in rain or shine
