Default Mirror removal

I am going to try and paint my CGT today but after looking at is decided it would be easier with the mirrors removed.... is this dificult?? Don't have my manual handy (its back at school) anyone done this before?? Thanks.

Default its pretty easy.

remove the trim piece in the corner of the window- 1 screw. remove the 3 screws underneath and the mirror comes off. in order to totally remove it(the wires will still be connected) youll need to remove the doorpanel, unhook the wires(they may be connected inside the car, right where the door wire boot comes in) and run the wires up and out of the door. its not bad, if you think its worth the extra 15 minutes.
