Default More ?? on aiming Euros

OK, I think I've got everything aimed right. 2" drop at 10 feet back. That's
around 2*, I think. But all the sites I've seen say 2" down and to the right
but never specify how far to the right. Is that 2" down and 2" to the right or
4" to the right? One of the two Euros I got was right on the mark for drop when
I installed it, but it's got to be 3-4" to the right. Too much? Just right?
Also, when "aimed" to the right, the left hand light is recessed back further
then the grill (on the edge next to the grill) and the right hand one sticks
further out that the grill. Normal? I know my car was hit in the front end in
1991 before I got it, but the repairs seem to be quality and I want to make
sure everything seems right with the lights. Also, the Euro convers came with
7506 bulbs in them, wehreas my stocks had some other smaller bult that is MUCH
dimmer (not sure what the number is, I've never had to change one). IS it OK to
run these brighter conrner bulbs?

Default I was just outside toying with mine

I dont really use either of those methods anymore. I kind of just look at where they're aimed... I go out on the road with them and look where they hit the trunks of cars. A good rule of thumb is that the horizontal cutoff should be a bit (an inch) below the edge of the trunk on an averaged sized sedan. As far as left to right, I try to keep my right one fairly close to straight ahead. Visually, you need to make sure the point after the elbow stays aimed off the road. I'm still fiddling with the vertical aiming on my left one. I have it a little right of center right now... The aiming on these things is not really scientific. Just make sure you are not blinding oncoming traffic or the guy in front of you. And make sure that you can see far enough ahead that you can see what's coming when you're doing 100 on the highway.

Default I thought euros are supposed to be centered....

not 2" to the right of center. I've read that you mark on a wall the exact center of the headlamp, move the car back 25 ft, and then aim the cutoff 3" below the center line. For left/right adjustment, just make sure the "inflection" point is at the center.
