Default Motor mount question

Got a slew of parts from Impex but have a question regarding the motor mounts. The ones I got are the correct size and resemble the transmission mounts appearance wise, but the mounts that are on the car are smoother in appearance. Without the car here I forget a few things. Is the middle bolt/stud on the mount seperate or is it part of the mount? The mounts I got (very pricey) have 3 holes, 2 outer and 1 inner (for a long bolt).

Will these work?

Default They are...

Transmission mounts are much smaller. I asked Derek about these. They will work, I just have to source some long bolts and washers to secure them from the bottom. Ive never seen motor mounts like this before, kinda weird.

Default I have a set of those 'weird' engine mounts..

Got them from the dealer. Parts guy said they were a replacement for the hydraulic ones.

In some ways I like them better.
They seem a bit stiffer, without being too stiff, and i feel that they won't fail the same way a hydraulic motor mount would.

Especially when they are right next to a hot turbo!

Got a link to a pic of them anywhere?

Default Those are the type I've always used and gotten from Impex

Long bolt goes through the middle. Are the kind of notched around the rubber part making them look like trans mounts on a larger scale?

Default Yup, thats the one

Without the car here I was having a weird picture of these mounts not working. But they work fine? Just find a long *** bolt and washer at the hardware store then?

Default Yeah, long bolts, I could have sworn mine always came as a "kit" with bolts though.

Does ETKA show a bolt size?

Default Thats the thing

ETKA shows the mount with the stud, so no bolt PN seems to be available .

It shows other PN's in which to order with the mount itself though. But thats assuming they are using the mount with the stud in the center.

I'll just have to snag a bolt from the hardware store long with some washers ad nuts.

Im just glad these will work. They seem like pretty hefty mounts.

Hefty, they are...I am 99.9% sure I had to use a thick washer to keep the oilpan off the subframe...
