Do you really see a differnce with that style rim? I replaced both of mine a couple years ago, and was thinking about those or a composite, but cheaped out and went with a conventional spoke pattern.

Not bad for a Tri-bike with heavy wheels. If I had the money for Zipp 303's and the Carbon version of the bike, it would be around 18lbs. It's lighter than my carbon Trek, though (but the Trek has a larger frame design, heavier wheels and clip on aero bars...)
The wheels make a difference. Tri-experts say wheels are worth ~1-2 minutes per 50 miles. That's a big deal. Plus, they feel sexy...
They start humming around 25 mph - better than the HED3's that sound like a Huey hovering overhead...
